Sentry Electric, Inc. is looking for a full-time Accounts Receivable/Office Assistant. Work hours are either: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm, or Monday-Thursday 7:00am-5:30pm
Pay rate: $18.00/hr - $22.00/hr
Duties/Tasks: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Complete all Accounts Receivable invoicing
Complete, manage and schedule job permits, one-calls, meter unlocks, de-energizes
Manage customer agreement plans
Input Accounts Payables
Input credit card receipts and gas receipts
Input and review employee timecard entries for payroll
Input employee commissions/sales
Secondary to take incoming calls and emails, recognizing that this is where the client’s first impression of the company will be
Record notes and data that is pertinent to the job and to the billing department
Obtaining information from other departments to ensure records are accurate and complete
Collect, insert and verify work times for technicians
Collect, insert and verify paperwork data from each job and from each technician
Transfer material for jobs and follow-up on all inventory discrepancies
Assisting with miscellaneous office duties as assigned
Assist in the dispatching of all service and maintenance calls to ensure maximum efficiency of scheduling without compromising client satisfaction, which includes scheduling of new jobs from estimators, notifying and scheduling of jobs when materials have arrived
Make sure the technicians are debriefed on each call and that they collect payment on every call

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent. Two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Basic computer skills required. Microsoft office product experience preferred. Prior electrical or construction billing preferred.
Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business items. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
